On 14th May 2021, its 1st dose was implemented in Hyderabad as a trial check. Dr Reddy’s Lab will be rolling out 2 Sputnik V versions, one is locally manufactured and other one is imported from Russia. It has 6 manufacturing partners in India for the local variant. Both these vaccine types will reach hospitals and clinics in the coming days.

The Sputnik V vaccine (imported) will cost you Rs 948 + 5% GST per dose in India. As per sources, you will have to take 2 doses of it to be completely vaccinated. Subsequently, its local variant will also be available
